• Let it breathe! Avoid storing your fresh sourdough in the fridge or a plastic bag, as this can affect its texture and flavor.
• After slicing: Place the cut side down on a surface. The crust naturally protects the rest of the loaf from drying out.
• For longer storage: Store your bread in a zip-tight bag and freeze it for later use.
• When you’re ready to enjoy it, take the loaf out of the freezer and let it thaw for 30 minutes on the counter.
• To refresh, sprinkle a little water on the loaf and place it in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
