Caring for Your Sourdough Loaf

To keep your sourdough fresh and delicious, follow these simple tips:

Let it breathe! Avoid storing your fresh sourdough in the fridge or a plastic bag, as this can affect its texture and flavor.

After slicing: Place the cut side down on a surface. The crust naturally protects the rest of the loaf from drying out.

For longer storage: Store your bread in a zip-tight bag and freeze it for later use.

When you’re ready to enjoy it, take the loaf out of the freezer and let it thaw for 30 minutes on the counter.

To refresh, sprinkle a little water on the loaf and place it in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Enjoy every slice!

With care, your sourdough will always be as delightful as the day you picked it up.
