SOURDOUGH BREAD
The Loaf Microbakery in Vancouver, Washington, offers authentic, naturally leavened bread.
All breads/Croissants is pre-ordered and available for convenient “grab-and-go” pickup every
Wednesday from 2 PM to 7 PM
Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
All of our bread is handmade in small batches using organic, seasonal, and ethically sourced ingredients, including Central Milling flour from Utah.
Each loaf undergoes a minimum 20-hour fermentation process with wild yeast sourdough culture and is baked in a brick oven to achieve a deep caramelized crust and rich flavor.
We never use conditioners or preservatives.
The natural fermentation process, driven by wild yeast and bacteria, pre-digests starches and breaks down gluten proteins, making our bread highly digestible and exceptionally delicious.
Authentic sourdough has a pleasant tang without being overwhelmingly sour, and many customers compare our bread to traditional San Francisco sourdough.
